There have been some solid revision to my vision for the home office – partly thanks to Target’s new fall home style catalog. Here are some pieces that I have already picked up to be used for the renovation project.
I have also decided to scrap the bird ceiling wallpaper concept and replaced it with elephants instead. Yes, I’m serious. There’s a reason for it – which I will disclose in my unveil. It has something to do with my client’s treasured collection. Back to wallpaper. Here are a few elephant options to jive with the blackish theme.
Or maybe horses?
I received my samples of Serena and Lily wallpaper. Here are my top picks for a dull red option instead of the bold blacks.
Another idea I have been toying with is adding a daybed in the room. I fully support nap time in the office, in fact it is essential. Maybe something like this, simple and solid?
The following was in today’s Style me Pretty’s blog. How perfect since I am gravitating towards gold and black as the dominating theme for the room. There will be pops of earth accents – read woods, leather and of course there will be fur involved.
Lastly, we head to Mexico this week for a 10-day vacation. Obviously I will have to scout for the perfect Mexican pop to add to my project. How great is this?
