Happy Spring! Though it could be warmer and a tad less windier in NYC today, the sun is shining and birds are definitely tweeting spring’s upcoming glory.
And on a much different note, if you were to ask me, what is the most impressive feature of our new home – I would say it is undoubtedly the kitchen. For one thing, it is huge proving size does matter. And of course, it is aesthetically very pleasing. The cabinets are a lovely textured dark brown, the back splash is a metallic brown tile along with some copper penny tiles above the stove. The counter tops are a serene quartz and the waterfall island is splendid. Lastly, all the appliances are Bosch, making them supposedly high-end. Win.
And you know how I like color, specifically pink. So I added this gorgeous pink runner rug to make a statement. And quite a statement it is making.
The copper pendent lighting about the island completes the look adding edginess and a healthy dose of contemporary glam. Inspired from them, I added the structurally sound copper counter stools for the island.
